Day 3 - November 3 - MASSAGE day!

I am going to share today's schedule with you.
6:00 - Stretch class - I only made it because my friend Rhonda called to check in. Thanks Rhonda!
7:00 - Breakfast - I could not eat all of it.
8:00 - 6.2 mile hike. We went back to the MASH site and this time I took pics
11:15 - I missed this class because some of our hikers got lost.
1:15 - Lecture - Emotional Eating
2:30 - Mountain class - you gradually increase your speed on your machine 12 times - BRUTAL
3:30 - Was water but since my ears are infected I did a second round of Mountain (it was hard to walk after that and someone asked me if I was injured - nope just really sore)
4:30 - Kickboxing - the instructor was brutal and called you out if you weren't giving 100% - guess who got called out? More than once?
5:15 - Dinner - was super yummy. Was their version of a taco salad. I ate every bite. The mango sherbet was just frozen mangos - eh.
6:15 - Lecture - Intuitive eating
8:30 - MASSAGE!!!! Only 25 minutes but worth EVERY second. I am taking up collections for my next massage.

As we were leaving our hike today, a lady had left her sunglasses behind and as we were turning around to get them they saw a guy pick them up. We pulled up beside him and he said he didn't have them. I thought the ladies in the front were going to jump him but he handed them over like a good boy. I was in the back laughing. We saw more mule deer today and some mallards.

Today during lunch they shot some Biggest Loser scenes in the dining hall. If they don't get cut, I am in a couple of the shots looking like crap because I was too tired to walk back to the room and freshen up.

I was on the way back to my room just now and they were still working out. I guess their days are longer than ours.

The Resort is making DVDs of our week here and I know I am in a few of the shots. I am waving from one of the Jeeps at the MASH site.

Did I mention that my massage was wonderful? I definitely have a better attitude than before I went in.

  1. Whow! i just read this and now feel exhausted! I really need to get busy walking so I can keep up with you when you RETURN!It has to get easier each day> RIght? Hang in there you can do it! Proud of you.(DO you want a wake up call each morning? I can do that much for you!)Keep in touch.
